We’ve Expanded!

In collaboration with Rhinegeist Brewery, we began supplying guests in the Rhinegeist Taproom in Cincinnati with an exclusive menu that pairs perfectly with Rhinegeist’s thirst-quenching beers on February 1st.  

Now, just two short months later, we are opening a full-concept restaurant on the first floor of the same building at 1910 Elm St. There is no better partner with which to embark on this journey than Rhinegeist, a beloved Cincinnati staple.  

Local Cantina will still provide its exclusive service to the taproom while providing guests with its full-service well-known and loved menu served throughout Columbus and Dayton.  

We were established in October 2012 in Columbus, Ohio. Our owner, George Tanchevski, had a vision to open a fresh kitchen with scratch-made food and sauces centered on Tex-Mex style cuisine. A late-night dining spot featuring a taco-centric menu with a fun atmosphere wrapped around a bar produced the first Local Cantina. His goal was to serve good food and drinks, with genuine hospitality, would make the concept a home run.  

In a short 10-year span, we have grown to fourteen locations around Columbus, Dayton, and now Cincinnati. During this time, we have grown into other concepts and into the restaurant group known as Orange Umbrella Restaurants(OUR Group).  

With each location within OUR Group, we strive to craft a higher standard of food, drink and service and to promote growth within ourselves and within the community.
